The launch of The Bristol paved the way for over a dozen new luxury condo developments, as the city begins its transformation into a global residential, business, and cultural hub. Chicago developer Al Adelson and his partner Eugene Golub of Flagler Investors envisioned The Bristol as the first luxury condominium with an exclusive club-like atmosphere to rise on Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.
Once the site of a church amphitheater, purchased for just $22 million, The Bristol is now the most luxurious and expensive condominium ever built in Palm Beach County. The 67-unit property initially sold out prior to the pandemic, with over $430 million in closed sales, ranging from $5 million to $43 million. An additional 12 guest suites and 16 private garages were also sold to owners.
Flagler Investors aimed to create an ultra-luxury condominium that would attract wealthy buyers not only from across the country but also from across the bridge in Palm Beach. To appeal to Palm Beach locals, The Bristol built its sales office just across the bridge on Palm Beach Island. Although many questioned its success, with no new condominiums on Palm Beach in years, The Bristol quickly attracted buyers seeking a more modern luxury experience. One Palm Beach resident famously purchased an entire floor for $43 million.
With an exterior design evoking the look of a cruise ship, The Bristol’s curved glass walls offer unparalleled multi-million dollar water views from every residence. Beyond the building’s stunning facade, the Bristol experience is even more impressive. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Luxury services, soft music, and a light fragrance fill the air all day. Continental breakfast is served each morning, exclusive events encourage socializing, and amenities such as a beauty salon, fitness center, and spa promote wellness. Additionally, an exclusive car and driver and a concierge are available to attend to any of the owners' needs.
The Bristol has set a high standard for new developments rising on Flagler Drive and throughout West Palm Beach, anchoring the residential, business, and cultural transformation of the area and establishing itself as the pinnacle of luxury in Florida.
